The CW heeft zojuist aangekondigd dat de nieuwe ‘The Vampire Diaries’ en ‘The Originals’ spinoff is opgepakt voor het nieuwe seizoen. Deze zal komend najaar te zien zijn op de zender. Met het nieuws is er ook al iets meer bekend over de serie:

Klaus Mikaelson’s daughter, 17-year-old Hope Mikaelson; Alaric Saltzman’s twins, Lizzie and Josie Saltzman; and other young adults come of age in the most unconventional way possible, nurtured to be their best selves…in spite of their worst impulses. Will these young witches, vampires and werewolves become the heroes they want to be — or the villains they were born to be?
Matthew Davis en Danielle Rose Russell zijn te zien in des serie in hun rollen als Alaric & Hope, naast nieuwkomers Quincy Fouse, Kaylee Bryant en Jenny Boyd.
