Eerder was aangekondigd dat het laatste en vijfde seizoen van ‘The Originals’ zou beginnen op 20 april. Echter heeft de CW enkele wijzigingen aangebracht in hun programmering waardoor de serie nu op woensdag te zien zal zijn, en zal dus beginnen op 18 april!

Er zijn nieuwe stills van seizoen 5 van ‘The Originals ‘ is verschenen, alle stills zijn in HQ (en ook alle eerdere stills van aflevering 5×01 zijn vervangen voor een HQ versie!)

Kat heeft rollen gescoord in twee nieuwe film ‘Christmas Calendar’ voor NetfliX en daarnaast zal ze te zien zijn naast o.a. acteur Morgan Freeman in de film ‘The Poison Rose’. Het is nog niet bekend wanneer beide film uitkomen.

The Vampire Diaries alum Kat Graham has signed on to star in Christmas Calendar, a Netflix holiday pic directed by Bradley Walsh. Quincy Brown (Dope, Fox series Star) has been cast to play Graham’s love interest in the film, which Brad Krevoy is producing.

It follows Abby Sutton (Graham), an aspiring photographer who inherits a magical advent calendar from her deceased grandmother that seems to be predicting her future — and pointing the way to a new romance with a hunky admirer.

In addition, Graham has been cast in The Poison Rose, playing Morgan Freeman’s daughter in the film, which also stars Forest Whitaker and John Travolta as Carson Philips, down-on-his-luck PI who enjoys his share of drinking, smoking, and gambling. He takes on a case that, like the story goes, starts out appearing fairly routine, slowly reveals itself to be a complex interwoven web of crimes, suspects, and dead bodies.

George Gallo is directing from a script by Richard Salvatore, who is also producing with Jeff Elliott and Oscar Generale.

Graham, known for her eight seasons run as Bonnie Bennett on The CW supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, will be seen in How It Ends, another Netflix feature in which she plays opposite Forest Whitaker and Theo James and co-stars in RZA’s CUT Throat City, with Terence Howard, Wesley Snipes, and Omar Epps.

She’s repped by Brillstein Entertainment Partners, WME, and Roger Goff.

Candice siert de cover van nieuwste editie van NKD Magazine met een nieuwe fotoshoot door Catherine Powell in het interview met het tijdschrift laat ze weten dat haar gastrol in eerste instantie voor één aflevering zou zijn en dat Julie Plec een duidelijk idee had over de relatie haar rol als Caroline zou hebben met Klaus.

Candice King has 17 days until she returns as Caroline Forbes on The Originals – and she’s chatting all about it in her cover story with NKD magazine.

The 30-year-old actress opens up about how fans gave Klaroline life and what’s ahead of them on the final season of the show.

“Julie Plec always had a very clear idea of what she wanted for Caroline and Klaus together,” she explains. “It wasn’t exactly always in line with what the fans wanted for those characters…she wrote very important moments that she wanted for those characters, but I think she also gave a lot to the fans and what they wanted to see.”

For the final season of The Originals, fans “gave life” to a relationship that they’ve “wanted for so long”.

Candice also admits that her five-episode appearances were originally only supposed to be one.

“When Vampire ended, it was just supposed to be a quick little pop-in to say goodbye to the Caroline and Klaus storyline for the fans,’ she says. “We all felt that it would be really significant and important for anyone who supported – or ‘shipped’ as the kids say – those two together.”

But, it all changed over one dinner.

“One thing led to another, as it usually does with Julie and I. A couple bottles of wine later and I’m in five episodes of the show.”

The Originals returns on Wednesday, April 18th on The CW.
