Joseph heeft een terugkerende rol gescoord in de TNT serie ‘Animal Kingdom’, hij zal te zien zijn als Jed de broer van personage Colin in de serie.

Former The Vampire Diaries and The Originals star Joseph Morgan has a TV comeback lined up.

The Klaus Mikaelson actor is set to star in a recurring role in TNT drama series Animal Kingdom, playing the role of Colin’s (Grant Harvey) brother Jed.

The character is part of a series of flashbacks to 1977, which document how Janine (Leila George) turned into crime family matriarch Smurf (Ellen Barkin).

Morgan has a fairly busy TV schedule coming up with roles in a TV adaptation of movie Gone Baby Gone, as well as an adaptation of the classic novel Brave New World.

Meanwhile, last year The Originals creator Julie Plec opened up about an unused storyline involving Morgan’s character Klaus.

“The one thing that we never did that I wanted to do for five years was a fan ask that I really wanted to honour — showing Klaus’ full transformation into a werewolf,” she explained.

“For many years we didn’t get there for financial reasons, and then it was just story reasons, and then back to financial reasons. And then the show was over.”

Animal Kingdom continues on TNT on Tuesday (July 23) at 9/8c.

Candice heeft het in haar recente aflevering van haar podcast ‘Directionally Challenged’ over de aflevering van MTV’s ‘Punk’d’ waarin ze te zien was toen vriendin en actrice Brittany Snow in de maling werd genomen. Dus ik dacht het is wel leuk om de video hiervan even te uploaden :)

De productie van het tweede seizoen van ‘Legacies’ is twee dagen geleden begonnen!

Er zin enkele nieuwe outtakes verschenen van de fotoshoot die Kat heeft gehad met Eric James Guillemain voor Vogue Arabia eerder dit jaar.

Candice zal aanwezig zijn op de San Diego Comic-Con! Ze liet vandaag via haar instagram account weten dat het vragenpanel voor ‘Legacies’ seizoen 2 zal leiden! Ze vraagt fan haar vragen te sturen voor tijdens het panel.

Harstikke leuk natuurlijk maar zullen we Caroline ook gaan zien in het tweede seizoen van de serie, vele fans hopen dat dit een teken is :)

Daarnaast heeft ze laten weten tijdens Comic-Con samen met Jullie Plec en Carina Adly MacKenzie (vriendinnen en producers van Legacies) een aflevering van haar podcast op te nemen.

Kaylee heeft eerder deze week een fotoshoot gehad met Jerry Maestas voor Grumpy Magazine, enkele achter de schermen foto’s deelde ze op haar social media en staan in de galerij.

Phoebe heeft op haar instagramaccount haar visie laten zien op de nieuwe rage de ‘Bottle Cap Challenge’, hierin is het doel om met een trap de dop van een plasticfles te schoppen zonder dat deze kapot gaat. Ze noemt de nieuwe rage stom en roept andere op om herbruikbare flessen te gebruiken om o.a. onze oceanen te redden.

Nadat eerder aangekondigd was dat Paul Wesley zou terugkeren in het tweede seizoen van ‘Tell Me A Story’ is ook bekend geworden dat Danielle zal terugkeren. Zij het aankomende seizoen te zien zijn als Olivia gebaseerd op het sprookje Doornroosje. Het eerste seizoen de serie is vanaf vandaag te zien op streamingsdienst Videoland!

nother Tell Me a Story Season 1 series regular, Danielle Campbell, is returning for the second season. Also set as a lead in the second installment of the CBS All Access anthology series is The Matrix star Carrie-Anne Moss. The duo joins previously cast Odette Annable, Natalie Alyn Lind and fellow returning Season 1 co-star Paul Wesley.

Tell Me a Story, from creator Kevin Williamson and Aaron Kaplan’s Kapital Entertainment, takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Season 2 will feature the tales of three iconic princesses – Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. (Season 1 weaved together dark stories based on The Three Little Pigs, Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Gretel.)

Campbell, who played a character inspired by Little Red Riding Hood in Season 1, will portray Olivia, who is not inspired by Belle but has ties to the Sleeping Beauty storyline. Self-possessed, strong, smart and sly, Olivia left small-town life behind (including a small-town boyfriend) and moved to Nashville to pursue her her master’s degree in Philosophy and Comparative Literature. But fate has new plans for Olivia, plans which will force her to rely on every ounce of strength, brains and craftiness she’s got — simply to survive.

Moss will play Rebecca, who has ties to all three storylines (Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast). The steely matriarch of the Pruitt family, Rebecca keeps her emotions firmly in check. After losing her husband over a decade ago in a car crash, Rebecca was forced to raise her three children solo, with varying degrees of success. She struggles to find balance between practicality, tough love and actual love (especially with her youngest daughter, Ashley, played by Lind), and after years of pouring all her energy into her children, Rebecca is ready to start focusing on herself.

Tell Me a Story, based on a Spanish format, is executive produced by Williamson and Kapital’s Kaplan and Dana Honor.

Known for her portrayal of Trinity in The Matrix, Moss recently completed her third and final season as powerful attorney Jerry Hogarth in Marvel’s Jessica Jones for Netflix. She also recently starred in Norwegian crime drama series Wisting. Moss is repped by WME, Hodgson Management and attorney Robert Lange.

In addition to the first season of Tell Me A Story for Campbell, where she played Kayla Powell, Campbell’s TV series credits include the role of Davina Claire on the CW’s The Originals, as well as roles on Freeform’s Famous In Love, the CW’s All-American and Fox’s Prison Break.
