    Sara zal op 18 juli aanwezig zijn op de San Diego Comic-Con om haar nieuwe film ‘The Banana Splits Movie ‘ te promoten.

    The Banana Splits Movie (10PM-11:30PM, Horton Grand Theatre). One banana, two bananas, three bananas . . . gore! Be among the first to witness the terrifying return of everyone’s favorite silly quartet as The Banana Splits Movie offers a new take on the classic characters, which were first introduced to audiences in 1968 with The Banana Splits Adventure Hour variety program. In the upcoming horror thriller, a boy named Harley and his family go to a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley. But things take an unexpected turn—and the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom, and their new pals safely escape? The film stars Sara Canning (The Vampire Diaries) and Dani Kind (Wynonna Earp), and Eric Bauza (Looney Tunes Cartoons, Woody Woodpecker, UniKitty!) supplies the voices of the Banana Splits. The movie is written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas (Raven’s Home, My Super Psycho Sweet 16) and directed by Danishka Esterhazy (Level 16).

  • Nieuwe look op de website!

    Ook de website heeft een nieuwe look met de ‘Vampire Diaries’ reunië van Candice & Kayla met Nina voor hun podcast moest ik deze foto wel gebruiken. De fotogalerij krijgt binnenkort ook een nieuwe look, hierdoor zal het weer mogelijk zijn om de volledige afbeeldigen te bekijken. Echter zijn er hiervoor wat technische problemen met de fotogalerij die ik eerst moet oplossen voor dit kan.

  • ‘The Vampire Diaries’ seizoen 8 wordt uitgezonden op SBS9

    De zender SBS 9 gaat vanaf juli beginnen met het uitzenden van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ seizoen 8, het is mij echter nog onduidelijk vanaf wanneer precies en hoelaat. Van wat ik nu kan terugvinden begin aflevering 8×01 Hello Brother a.s. zaterdag. Hou de TV-gids dus in de gaten.

    Moord zonder menselijkheid in The vampire diaries

    The vampire diaries op SBS 9, donderdag 11 juli om 00:20 tot 01:05

    Zonder hun menselijkheid moorden Enzo en Damon er lustig op los. Stefan en Bonnie proberen de vampiers op andere gedachten te brengen, maar ze zijn totaal niet voor rede vatbaar. Caroline neemt Seline aan als kinderjuf. Vampire diaries trapt de achtste reeks af met een sprong in de tijd. Het is maanden na de cliffhanger van seizoen 7 waarin te zien was hoe Enzo (Michael Malarkey) en Damon (Ian Somerhalder) ten prooi vielen aan het raadselachtige cryptemonster.

    Ontdaan van menselijkheid
    Nu blijkt wat er met de twee vampiers is gebeurd: ze zijn ontdaan van hun menselijkheid en vrijgelaten om te moorden uit naam van het monster. Het duo neemt z’n intrek in een plaatselijk slachthuis en richt zonder berouw een enorm bloedblad aan. Stefan probeert met Bonnie het stel op andere gedachten te brengen, maar ze blijken niet voor rede vatbaar. Ondertussen heeft Seline (Kristen Gutoskie) zich opgeworpen als kinderjuf voor het kroost van Caroline, maar dit leidt tot een confrontatie met Virginia St. John.

  • Videosectie vernieuwd & geupdate

    De videosectie heeft een nieuwe lay-out, daarnaast is hij geupdate met alle laatste clips van ‘Legacies’ waaronder interviews van de cast en clips van de afleveringen van seizoen 1.

    Alle video’s van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ & ‘The Originals’ zijn natuurlijk ook nog te bekijken.

  • Seizoen 2 ‘Legacies’ verlengt met 4 afleveringen

    Het is zojuist bekend geworden dat het tweede seizoen van ‘Legacies’ door The Cw is verlengt met 4 afleverigen, hierdoor zal het aankomende seizoen uit 20 afleveringen bestaan.

  • Phoebe op events + meer nieuws!

    Phoebe was aanwezig op enkele events. Daarnaast is ze de afgelopen maanden druk bezig geweest met de opnames van haar eerste korte film die ze zelf schreef en regisseerde. Haar serie Bloom won een Logie Awards voor beste serie en is door zender Stan vernieuwd voor een tweede seizoen – het is nog niet bekend wanneer het nieuwe seizoen begint. En als laatste is er een nieuwe fotoshoot verschenen voor Veni Magazine.

  • Kat op events & te zien in nieuwe Netflix kerstfilm!

    Kat was de afgelopen weken ook aanwezig op enkele events, zo vierde ze het 90-jarig bestaan van brillenmerk Foster Grant en is ze ambassaduer geworden van Rotary International en bezocht ze samen met hun een vluchtelingenkamp in Oeganda. Daarnaast laat ze weten dat ze bezig is met de opnames van een nieuwe Netflix film, deze zal ‘Operation Christmas Drop’ gaan heten en in 2020 uitkomen.

    Ian was de afgelopen weken aanwezig op enkele events, zo bezocht hij twee weken geleden de 2019 Wizard World Philadelphia waar hij o.a. het volgende liet weten na vragen van fans:
    – De Post-Productie van ‘V-Wars’ is nog steeds gaande na 8 maanden, de verwachting is dat het nog enkele maanden zal duren voordat de serie op ‘Netflix verschijnt’.
    – Hij en Paul waren bitter toen bekend werd dat dat spin-off ‘The Originals’ er kwam, voornamelijk omdat hierdoor vele goede acteur en ook vrienden ‘The Vampire Diaries’ zouden verlaten wat ze erg jammer vonden.
    – Als het aan hem ligt zal Damon Salvatore geen verschijning maken in ‘Legacies’

  • Julie Plec Says the Originals Could Be Headed to Legacies This Season

    We have about a million unanswered questions as we prepare to head into Legacies Season 2, but the one most fans of The Originals and The Vampire Diaries are still asking is whether Mystic Falls might get a visit from any of the characters we know and love. According to showrunner Julie Plec, while nothing is actually on the agenda yet, Season 2 might just deliver the right opportunity for such an event to occur.

    “I think there’s going to be an opportunity this year to see some of the Originals,” Plec told TV Guide at the ATX Television Festival last month. “I don’t know who and I don’t know when, but the way that Hope’s (Danielle Rose Russell) storyline is shaping up, there’s definitely a link to the family that got left behind … that we will have to address at a certain point. And it would be nice to see a familiar face.”

    It sure would be nice to see one of the surviving Original family members show up this season, but that raises the question: Do they even remember Hope? After diving into the Malivore pit, she was erased from the minds and hearts of everyone who knew her, so if we’re being real, a lot of the last 18 years are probably a little confusing for Hope’s aunts and uncle. Like, “Why were we so close with that Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) girl again?”

    All joking aside, we’d absolutely love to see Rebekah (Claire Holt) or Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) turn up to kick Malivore’s butt, and Freya (Riley Voelkel) would certainly be a helpful addition to the mission to get Hope out of whatever inter-dimensional prison she may find herself in this season.

    Another friendly face we wouldn’t turn away is, of course, that of Caroline Forbes (Candice King). Now that Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) and Josie (Kaylee Bryant) have found the Ascendant, Caroline’s twin daughters could find themselves in more danger than ever, which could hopefully tempt everyone’s favorite vampire barbie back to her hometown. When we asked Plec whether that’s in the cards this year, she didn’t make any promises, but it seems like it’s always a good possibility.

    “The desire to see Caroline Forbes on Legacies remains strong,” Plec said. “The invitation remains open and the welcome would be warm. So honestly, it’s just a matter of finding the right story and the right opportunity for Candice to want to come back and play in the sandbox a little.”

    Legacies returns Thursday, Oct. 10 at 9/8c on The CW.
