Michael Malarkey en de cast en crew proberen ‘Project Blue Book’ door de serie te verkopen aan een andere zender of streamingsdienst. Ze laten in een gestarte petitie weten dat de serie alleen gecanceld is omdat zender History zich meer wil richten op mini-series en de kijkcijfers voor ‘Project Blue Book’ gewoon goed waren met zo’n 2,5 miljoen! Ze laten weten dat er al plannen waren voor seizoen 3 en er nog vele verhalen te vertellen zijn :)

The CW heeft aangekondigd dat het nieuwe seizoen van de zender zal beginnen in januari 2021, en dit geld voor al hun originele series waaronder ‘Legacies’. Dit betekend dat we iets langer moet wachten dan normaal aangezien het nieuwe seizoen normaal in oktober zou beginnen.

De directeur van The CW Mark Pedowitz heeft laten weten dat alle nieuwe seizoenen van hun serie het aantal afleveringen zal krijgen wat is afgesproken bij de vernieuwing. Dit houd in dat de alle series hun oorspronkelijker 13-22 afleveringen zullen krijgen, daardoor zal de seizoensfinale van sommige series pas in juli-augustus uitgezonden worden. zijn. In the second season, which brought back stars Paul Wesley and Danielle Campbell, focused on “Beauty and the Beast,” “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella”.

At the moment, it’s not clear just when the show will make its’ debut on The CW.

Project Blue Book fans will be left with a few questions after History cancelled the Aidan Gillen-fronted drama.

The second season of the UFO drama ended on March 24 with Gillen’s Dr. Allen Hynek searching for his colleague Capt. Michael Quinn, played by Michael Malarkey, who was evidently blown to bits by an underwater explosion.

However, the A+E Networks’ cable network has opted not to pursue a third season of the show.

The show was created by David O’Leary, who served as writer and executive producer alongside writer-showrunner Sean Jablonski, Zemeckis, Jackie Levine and Barry Jossen.

Produced by A+E Studios and Compari Entertainment, Project Blue Book is inspired by the personal experiences of Dr. J. Allen Hynek (Gillen), a brilliant college professor recruited by the U.S. Air Force to spearhead this clandestine operation — Project Blue Book — that researched thousands of cases, more than 700 of which remain unsolved to this day. The 10-episode sophomore season will find Dr. Hynek and Capt. Michael Quinn (Malarkey) on a dangerous quest for the truth and delve deeper into themes of global conspiracy, touch on how UFOs have impacted the evolution of our nation’s military practices and technology and lean into the nostalgia of the 1950s.

Season 2 kicked off with a deep dive into two of the most well-known UFO cases in US history: Roswell, New Mexico, where a rancher claimed to have found mysterious wreckage on his property thought to be a UFO, and Area 51, a government-run location in Nevada historically rumored to be a magnet for paranormal events and UFO-related activity.

Neal McDonough, Michael Harney, Laura Mennell and Ksenia Solo also star, with Keir O’Donnell and Jerod Haynes also recurred in season two.

After a month-long hiatus, Batwoman finally returns this coming Sunday with a fresh episode directed by The Vampire Diaries alum Paul Wesley, and EW has your exclusive look at him working behind-the-scenes.

In the episode, titled “A Narrow Escape,” Kate (Ruby Rose) hangs up the cowl for a bit because she’s still dealing with the trauma of murdering August Cartwright. Unfortunately, an old Batman foe named the Detonator chooses this time return and terrorize the city by strapping bombs to Gotham’s everyday heroes to see if they’re willing to sacrifice themselves to save others. “What I really enjoyed about this episode is that it’s quite grounded in the sense that it is a ‘race against time’ main plot. So it’s quite fast paced and energetic but of course there is a lot of character development,” Wesley tells EW via email.

Grey’s Anatomy star Camilla Luddington has revealed that she came close to playing a big Vampire Diaries role, which would have stopped her from playing Dr Jo Wilson.

Posting on Twitter, Luddington shared a number of characters she auditioned for – and one was Rebekah Mikaelson on The Vampire Diaries.

Claire Holt ended up being cast as Rebekah and went on to star in The Originals as well.

“Was reminiscing with my husband about some roles we auditioned for (over a decade ago) and didn’t get,” Luddington tweeted. “I was thinking it might be fun to share just a couple ha!!!!

“I auditioned for (and Obvs didn’t get but thought it would be so fun to play) Rebekah on #TheVampireDiaries.”

When a fan responded by suggesting that Luddington wouldn’t have been cast in Grey’s Anatomy had she been successful in auditioning for Vampire Diaries, the star replied: “I would not being playing Jo, that’s exactly right!”

Luddington also shared that she went for the parts of Alex Dupre on One Tree Hill and Alex on Nikita. Those roles went to Jana Kramer and Lyndsy Fonseca respectively.

“I auditioned and realllllly wanted Alex in #Nikita but the wonderful Lyndsy Fonseca killed it in that role,” she said.

Grey’s Anatomy recently ended its 16th season with quite a few big twists as well as an emotional callback to a season 2 moment. But it remains unclear what season 17 will look like, as there were a number of cut storylines that the show had planned before the current run ended early.
