Nina Dobrev zou volgens de nieuwste berichten een rol hebben gescoord in de film ‘Let’s Be Cops’! De film gaat over twee vrienden die denken dat het leuk is om zich voor te doen als politieagenten. Maar hun idee mislukt wanneer ganster erbij betrokken raakt. Damon Wayans, Jr. en Jake Johnson zijn te zien als de twee vrienden in de film, Nina zou de rol van de Damon Wayans Jr personage’s vriendin spelen.
Nina Dobrev (Elena) better dust off her comedic skills, because Variety reports she’s going to star in a movie with Damon Wayans, Jr. The movie, Let’s Be Cops, also stars Jake Johnson and James D’Arcy.
Wayans and Johnson play two friends who think it will be funny to pretend to be cops. This brilliant idea fails when a not-so-fake mobster (D’Arcy) gets involved. The Vampire Diaries actress will portray Wayans’s girlfriend.
Presumably the movie will film over the summer, so Nina can get back to Atlanta in time for Season 5 TVD duties. Two years ago, she shot her scenes for Perks of Being a Wallflower in mid-May so as not to interfere with the show’s schedule.
We’ve seen Nina deliver some witty lines as Katherine on The Vampire Diaries — and recently as no-emotions Elena, too — but it’s rare to see her in a truly comedic role. We’re so used to her crying, running for her life, and just plain looking worried!
