Kat trad eerder gisteren op bij Kiss 95.1 Radio station in Charlotte. Een fan poste haar ervaring van de Meet & Greet die gewonnen ze had online.

Yesterday (August 6) I had the amazing opportunity to meet Kat Graham and watch her perform a few songs! A few days ago I noticed Kat retweeted a contest link from Kiss 95.1, a local radio station here in Charlotte, NC. I entered my name and yesterday, about four hours before the meet and greet was to take place, I received an email from the station letting me know that I had won a spot! I, along with a friend of mine, headed downtown to the CBS Radio studios and received a free poster for Kat’s recent EP Against the Wall.

After standing around for about 30 minutes, we were lead back into a room with rows of chairs set up. Luckily my friend and I were standing near the door they led us through so we ended up at the front of the line…and snagging seats in the front row! It was basically just an open space in the office area, so front row was about 2-3 feet from the space where Kat was to perform. A few minutes later, Kat came out and immediately began to perform. She, along with her two backup dancers, performed “Wanna Say,” “Heartkiller,” and of course “Put Your Graffiti On Me.” After the first song, she had everyone stand up and crowd around her for the last two songs, so that put us very up close and personal, LOL.

After she was finished, she left to do a quick spot on the air (I believe) and we were entertained by the hilarious morning show hosts for the station Drex & Maney. Kat quickly returned and we had an opportunity to ask her some questions. We learned that the cast is currently working on episode three (eep!) down in Atlanta which Bonnie does not make an appearance in, hence her heading out on this short tour. When asked if she would ever consider tying her music into an episode of TVD, Kat immediately shot that down saying that it would just be too strange to be dressed as Bonnie and singing “Put Your Graffiti On Me.” LOL

After the Q&A, we got to go through and meet Kat personally and get our posters signed! She is so sweet and so gorgeous in person! I’m so thankful to have gotten this opportunity!
