Kat Graham’s Couture Adventures: Vintage Céline, Jean Paul Gaultier, Ronald Van Der Kemp, and a Lot of Feathers

Kat Graham, best known for her roles on The Vampire Diaries and All Eyez on Me, headed to Paris earlier this week to her front row debut at the couture collections. The Swiss-born star took a seat at Jean Paul Gaultier and Ronald Van Der Kemp’s shows, the designs of whom she has worn on and off the carpet. “I wear a ton of Jean Paul Gaultier on the regular,” said Graham, who added, “he’s known to be one of my all-time favorites.” Here, the actress gives a look inside her Parisian adventures including a whirlwind shopping trip, an excursion to see the legendary cabaret at the Crazy Horse, and of course, the obligatory selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Loewe street art? I’m in. Seemed totally contrasting with the burned building in the background… great fashion can withstand any fire.

Jet lagged in my vintage Celine. At the Louis store they serve you coffee while you accompany your fabulous publicist, Polis Groutas, while he buys a new wallet.

I think I tried on everything in the showroom! I wear a ton of Jean Paul Gaultier on the regular. He’s known to be one of my all-time favorites. I have more JPG archive in my closet than any other designer.

Mirror, mirror on the wall…

Dreaming of meeting my idol, Mr. Jean Paul Gaultier…

Which Ronald Van Der Kemp dress do I choose?

You can’t come to Paris without visiting the world famous Crazy Horse!

What do you do before Paris couture at 10 AM? Eat a plate full of pasta, of course!

I got to work with Stephane Bondin. He’s a former ballerina turned incredible hairstylist. A man after my own heart. We wanted to capture Parisian effortlessness.

Jean Paul Gaultier represents authenticity, individuality, risk-taking, and inclusiveness, everything I treasure in life and in fashion.

My fashion dreams came true when I got to meet THE man behind the cone bra. This man revolutionized fashion and brought so many different designs that empowered women.

Photographe amatuer! I saw these red balloons stuck in a tree in front of the Eiffel Tower. Que in Nena’s “99 Red Ballons.”
