Ian is gecast in de nieuwe film ‘Zorra’ waarin o.a. ook Ben Kingsley in te zien zal zijn. Op de opnames en productie van de film die gaat over een worstelende artiest in NYC zullen beginnen in 2015.

The Vampire Diaries handsome Ian Somerhalder (Damon) has been cast in Zorra, an upcoming feature film project from producers, Kim Jackson and Zach LeBeau and Evotion Media.

“We’re happy to be involved as producers,” says LeBeau. “It’s a great story, with an amazing cast.” Also a writer on the project, LeBeau worked with Academy Award winning actor, Ben Kingsley and actress/producer Daniela Lavender, to bring the story to life.

Ben Kingsley is attached to play the character of Johnny King. Daniela Lavender is attached to play the lead role of Zorra. Travis Fimmel of the History Channel’s “Vikings” is attached to the role of Max. Rounding out the cast is “Lost” and “Vampire Diaries”, Ian Somerhalder as Eddie. Kari Skogland is to direct.

“Zorra” is about a struggling artist in New York City. It is slated for production in 2015.
