CONTROLLING YOUR MAGIC — More powerful than ever, Kai (guest star Chris Wood) holds Elena (Nina Dobrev) captive while he learns to control his newly acquired magic. At the Salvatore mansion, Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) and Alaric (Matt Davis) try to prepare Jo (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) for the impending merge ceremony with Kai, but they quickly realize Jo is weaker than they thought. After bringing Sheriff Forbes (guest star Marguerite MacIntyre) home from the hospital, Caroline (Candice Accola) travels with Stefan (Paul Wesley) to North Carolina in search of a cure for her mother’s cancer. Meanwhile, Stefan, who has his own intentions for traveling to North Carolina, is caught off guard when Enzo (Michael Malarkey) shows up demanding to know what Stefan is hiding. Lastly, when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) discovers Elena has been kidnapped by Kai, he is forced to rethink his strategy after an unexpected visitor throws a wrench into his plan. Michael Trevino, Steven R. McQueen and Zach Roerig also star. Paul Wesley directed the episode written by Melinda Hsu Taylor (#611). Original airdate 1/22/2015.

Annie Wersching scoort terugkerende rol in ‘TVD’
Actrice Annie Wersching heeft een terugkerende rol gescoord in ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Voornamelijk bekend door haar rol in ’24’ zal ze vanaf aflevering 6×15 te zien zijn als Lily.
Another mysterious lady is making her way to Mystic Falls in 2015.
Annie Wersching (24) has been tapped to recur in The Vampire Diaries‘ sixth season as a “beautiful and strong” woman named Lily, TVLine has learned exclusively. Also described as “articulate and caustic,” Lily has a reputation for protecting the ones she loves at any cost, though it’s unclear as to who (or what) those loved ones are.
Lily will first appear in Episode 615.In addition to playing Renee Walker on 24, Wersching’s small-screen resumé includes roles in Extant, Bosch, Dallas and General Hospital. She’ll also reprise her recurring Castle character — the mysterious Dr. Kelly Nieman — later this season.

Ik heb de videosectie vandaag geupdate met de laatste verschenen previews, webclips, interview en rehash afleveringen van van seizoen 6. Deze week zullen ook de video’s van ‘The Originals’ toegevoegd worden.
Voor diegene die zich afvragen waar de afleveringen blijven? Ik heb het erg druk gehad met werk en de feestdagen dus ik liep wat achter maar momenteel ben ik ze aan het downloaden en staan ze hopelijk morgen allemaal online :)

Ian’s gaat ook aflevering TVD regisseren
Na Paul Wesley zal ook Ian Somerhalder een aflevering van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ regiseren. Dit heeft hij zelf laten weten via zijn twitteraccount. Ian zal voor aflevering 6×16 The Downward Spiral achter de camera kruipen :)
