Malese nieuws en foto’s
Het is bekend geworden dat Malese een gastrol gescoord heeft in ‘Castle’, de aflevering is 3 februari te zien in de VS. Daarnaast is de eerste outtake van de ‘Star-Crossed’ promotieshoot verschenen. Er zijn nieuwe achter de schermen in de galerij gezet van de serie die vanaf 17 februari te zien is op The CW. En nog foto’s van een optreden van Malese in November vorig jaar en nieuwe outtakes van een fotoshoot.

Sara te zien in nieuwe serie ‘Remedy ‘
Sara zal te zien in de nieuwe ziekenhuis serie ‘Remedy’, ze zal een chirurg gaan spelen in het fictieve Broadview Hospital. De productie van de Canadese serie begint in januari 2014 in Toronto.
e Vampire Diaries’ Sara Canning, Sarah Allen and Dillon Casey have boarded the Canadian medical drama Remedy.
Canning will play a general surgeon in the fictional Broadview Hospital, while Allen performs the role of an ICU nurse and Casey plays a medical school dropout.They join Enrico Colantoni, who was already announced in the role of a passionate father and doctor who is acting chief of staff at the hospital. The Global Television drama comes from Canadian indie Indian Grove Productions and has started production in Toronto.
Bernie Zukerman and series creator and showrunner Greg Spottiswood are executive producing. Production on Remedy will continue through January, 2014. The ensemble cast includes Matt Ward, Genelle Williams, Patrick McKenna and Martha Burns.
Red Arrow International holds international distribution rights to Remedy, which has Kelly Makin and Adam Barken as co-executive producers along with Jan Peter Meyboom. -
‘Army Wives’ stopt
De Amerikaanse zender heeft besloten de serie ‘Army Wives’ te cancelen, vanaf afgelopen seizoen had Torrey een vast rol in de serie.
Lifetime has canceled its long-running drama series “Army Wives.”
“There is no denying how special ‘Army Wives’ has been to both Lifetime and the television landscape,” Lifetime’s executive vice president and general manager, Rob Sharenow, said in a statement.

“By taking on a very relevant and timely issue, it has brilliantly captured the challenges our military families endure and the bravery they and their loved ones display while serving our country,” he continued.
After seven seasons, the cable network plans to end the series run with a two-hour retrospective special featuring cast members that will air early next year.
“It has been an honor to be the home of ‘Army Wives,’” Sharenow added. “We also want to thank ‘Army Wives’ passionate legion of fans and everyone involved with the series: ABC Studios, Mark Gordon and Jeff Melvoin, Tanya Biank, every single cast member, as well as the crew and community of Charleston, South Carolina. Without their dedication, effort and loyalty, ‘Army Wives’ seven wonderful seasons would not have been possible; and for that we are very grateful.”
“Army Wives” followed the struggles, dreams and friendships of a diverse group of women living with their spouses and families on an active Army post. It was created by Katherine Fugate and based on the Tanya Biank novel “Under the Sabers: The Unwritten Code of Army Wives.” It was produced by ABC Studios. Mark Gordon and Jeff Melvoin served as executive producers.
The series’ ensemble cast has included Catherine Bell, Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, Wendy Davis, Brigid Brannagh, Kelli Williams, Brian McNamara, Sterling K. Brown, Brooke Shields, Ashanti, Torrey DeVitto, Elle McLemore, Jesse McCartney, Terry Serpico, Drew Fuller, Alyssa Diaz, J.J. Soria, Joshua Henry and Burgess Jenkins.
The drama has received numerous honors, including two Gracie Awards from the Alliance for Women in Media, a Sentinel for Health Award from the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism’s Norman Lear Center, as well as numerous nominations for an NAACP Image Award, NAMIC Award or Prism Award.
Once one of Lifetime’s most-watched original series, its Season 7 finale in June attracted 2.41 million total viewers.

Matthew scoort terugkerende rol in CSI!
Matthew Davis heeft een terugkerende rol gescoord in het 14e seizoen van ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’. Vanaf eind oktober zal hij in enkele afleveringen van de serie te zien zijn als een charmante brandweerman die zich niet helemaal voordoet zoals hij is.
Exciting news, fang fans: it has come to our attention that Vampire Diaries actor Matt Davis has scored a sweet gig on the fourteenth season of the hit series CSI! While we would be in more of a celebratory mood had the announcement been about Alaric Saltzman’s return to Mystic Falls to run the town alongside his drinking buddy Damon Salvatore (we like to dream big), we’ll take our weekly dose of ‘Ernesto Riley’ whenever we can.
Best of all? Just like he did on TVD and Cult, Matt is going to get hearts racing with his new action-packed role on the long-running CBS procedural!
According to TVLine, Matt will play a “smart, athletic and competitive son of a decorated fireman.” However, don’t be deceived by his good looks and charming ways! Although his character initially comes off as a confident and gregarious fellow, deep down he’s a vulnerable man who happens to be fluent in ‘geek.’ Specifically speaking? He’s “a bit of a loner, with the soul of a poet and the mind of a mathematician.”

Malese Jow is in februari weer te zien op de zender CW! In mei werd haar nieuwe pilot-serie Star Crossed opgepakt door de zender. Ze zal te zien zijn als Julia. Andere acteur in de serie zijn o.a. Matt Lanter (90210) en Aimee Teegarden (Aim High)
