TVLine has learned exclusively that the Pretty Little Liars and Vampire Diaries alumna will appear in Episode 13, titled “Acting Out” and airing Dec. 8, as Nicole Flynn, who is described as “professional, endearing” and wielding “a touch of Flynn’s edge and sense of humor.”
Nicole unwittingly threatens to cause a bit of a stir at the MCD, seeing as Flynn’s fam is somehow under the impression that he has a li’l something going on with Captain Raydor. As series creator James Duff previously told TVLine, [Andy and Sharon] are not dating, at least not yet. But Flynn’s daughter thinks they are. So when she comes to work to have a discussion with Sharon about a problem in her life, it becomes a paranoid freak-out time for Flynn.”
DeVitto’s other previous TV credits include Army Wives, One Tree Hill and Beautiful People. She also can be spied in the harrowing opening sequence for the upcoming CBS drama Stalker. -

Ian was gisteren bezig met de opnames voor de documantaire ‘The Climate Reality Project’ in Washington Square Park, New York City. Daarnaast gaan er geruchten dat zijn vriendin Nikki Reed bij hem is ingetrokken in Atlanta, zodat zij hem dagelijks kan bezoeken tijdens de opnames van seizoen 6.

Claire gecast in nieuwe NBC serie ‘Aquarius’
Het is bekend geworden dat Claire Holt is gecast in de nieuwe NBC serie ‘Aquarius’. Deze zal uit 13 afleveringen bestaan waarin een undercover agent en zoek gaat naar een moordenaar en zijn volgenlingen in de jaren 60. Claire zal de rol van office Chairmain Tully op haar nemen, een mooie, vrouwelijk politieofficier die serieus wil worden genomen in de dominante mannenwereld van het politiekorps in L.A.

The Originals star has joined the cast of NBC’s new drama Aquarius as a series regular, E! News has learned.Set in the ‘60s, Aquarius stars David Duchovny as an undercover cop tracking down infamous killer Charles Manson and his followers. Also set to star in the 13-episode series are Gaius Charles, Gethin Anthony and Grey Damon. Holt will play Office Chairmain Tully, a beautiful young female police officer who is trying to be taken seriously in the male-dominated world of the LAPD in 1967, no easy task.
Holt’s Vampire Diaries character Rebekah, the sole female sibling in the Original family of vampires, quickly became a fan favorite after her season three debut, along with onscreen brothers Joseph Morgan and Daniel Gillies, landing them their own spinoff series, The Originals.
But fans of the CW hit series were thrown for a major curveball when Holt exited the series in its first season, which she later explained was due to her desire to be back in Los Angeles (The Originals films in Atlanta). “This show has been so amazing for my career, and I’ve had such unbelievable material, it was just never my intention to be away from home this long,” she said in an interview with Buzzfeed.
Still, Holt’s new gig on Aquarius won’t stop Rebekah from making a quick visit to New Orleans in season two, as The Originals’ creator Julie Plec revealed that we’ll see Holt “at least once in the first three episodes” during the show’s panel at Comic-Con. And fans got a taste of Rebekah’s return in the trailer that was screened, featuring footage from the first three episodes with a fairy tale narration by Holt. And after her exit, Holt said, “I am simply looking at this as a temporary absence.”

‘Pretty Little Lairs’ vernieuwd voor twee seizoenen!
Nog voor het vijfde seizoen van ‘Pretty Little Lairs’ in premiere ging op ABC Family heeft ze zender de serie al vernieuwd voor nog twee seizoen! Torrey is sinds het begin te zien in de serie als Melissa Hastings, de serie is de best bekeken serie van de zender.

‘Remedy’ krijgt tweede seizoen
Sara’s nieuwe serie ‘Remedy’ is begin deze maand vernieuwd voor een tweede seizoen! De productie van het tweede seizoen zal later dit jaar beginnen in Toronto en Hamilton in Canada, en zal uit 10 afleveringen bestaan.

‘Star-Crossed’ en ‘Supernatural’ spin-off gecanceld
Malese haar nieuwe serie ‘Star-Crossed’ is door de CW gecanceld en zal niet terugkeren voor een tweede seizoen. De serie trok wekelijks 1.3 miljoen kijkers wat te weinig was voor de zender om ermee verder te gaan.
Ook de spin-off van ‘Supernatural’ genaamd ‘Bloodlines’ zal er niet komen. Nate zou hierin een rol hebben en was afgelopen maand te zien in een aflevering het negende seizoen van ‘Supernateral’ als pilot voor de nieuwe serie. Hoewel het erop leek dat de serie opgepakt zou worden door de zender, reageerde fans voornamelijk negatief. Daarom ziet The CW van de spin-off serie af, ze zouden nog wel plannen hebben om op een andere wijze een spin-off van de serie te maken.
