    Phoebe heeft een rol gescooort in het opkomende vierde seizoen van ‘The Affair’.

    Phoebe Tonkin is set to join the upcoming fourth season of Showtime’s The Affair!

    The 28-year-old actress, who is best known for her work on The Vampire Diaries and The Originals, will play a character involved in Cole’s (Joshua Jackson) storyline.

    Amy Irving is set to play “Nan Perino, a sculptress from Morro Bay, Calif., with a ‘mysterious’ connection to Cole’s father,” according to TVLine.

    Phoebe is playing “Daphne, Nan’s protégé, who ‘guides’ Cole through his quest for answers.”

    The final season of The Originals will return to The CW in 2018!

  • Michael Malarkey gecast in UFO Series ‘Blue Book’

    Micheal is gecast in de nieuwe serie ‘Blue Book’ van de Amerikaanse zender History. De serie zal gaan over het onderzoek dat de U.S. Air Force deed naar UFO gerelateerde fenomenen in de jaren 50 en 60, deze waren ook wel bekend als “Project Blue Book.”. Micheal zal de rol van WWII veteraan Kapitein Michael Quinn spelen, die het project lijd. Zijn personage wordt omschreven als een charmante piloot die vaak botst met zijn partner in het project.

    Michael laat via zijn twitteraccount weten dat de opnames van de serie deze week al begonnen zijn, dit is de reden waarom hij enkele optredens in zijn tour moest verzetten. De verwachting is dat de serie volgend jaar te zien zal zijn op de Amerikaanse TV.

    The Vampire Diaries alum Michael Malarkey is set as a series regular in History’s scripted drama series Blue Book, executive produced by Oscar winner Robert Zemeckis.

    Created and written on spec by David O’Leary, with Sean Jablonski serving as showrunner, the 10-episode Blue Book chronicles the true top secret U.S. Air Force-sponsored investigations into UFO-related phenomena in the 1950s and ’60s, known as “Project Blue Book.” Gillen plays Dr. J. Allen Hynek, a brilliant astrophysicist, family man, and UFO skeptic who is recruited as the Chief Scientific Advisor to “Project Blue Book.” Mennell will play Allen’s wife, Mimi Hynek, who is seemingly a content stay-at-home housewife but has plans to become much more.

    Malarkey will play Captain Michael Quinn, A decorated WWII hero, Captain Michael Quinn is selected to run Project Blue Book, a new Air Force division investigating UFO phenomena. A charming Air Force pilot, he clashes with his Blue Book partner, Dr. Allen Hynek (Aidan Gillen), challenging Hynek’s scientific mind with his raw emotional gut instincts.

    Maleficent helmer Robert Stromberg, is set to direct the first two episodes of the series, from A+E Studios and Compari Entertainment, a division of Zemeckis’ ImageMovers.

    Malarkey, best known for this role as Enzo on the long-running CW’s The Vampire Diaries, recently wrapped shooting a role in Crackle’s upcoming drama series The Oath. He’s repped by Silver Lining Entertainment, Gersh and attorney Gregg Gellman.

    Zach is nog een keer te zien in een aflevering van de serie ‘The Gifted’! Ditmaal is aflevering 1×08 en hiervan zin stills verschenen!

    Uitgezonden in Nederland.
    De serie wordt ook uitgezonden in Nederland op de zender Fox. Zijn eerdere aflevering 1×04 is aanstaande vrijdag om 23 uur te zien en de andere 1×08 is op 31 december te zien op de zender.

    De groep wordt bedreigd wanneer een nieuwe vluchteling een spion van Sentinel Services blijkt te zijn. Reed bezoekt zijn vervreemde vader en leert geheimen die nuttig kunnen zijn.

  • Phoebe te zien in ‘Safe Harbour’

    Phoebe is volgend jaar te zien in de film ‘Safe Harbour’.

    Award-winning actors Joel Jackson, Ewen Leslie, and The Vampire Diaries/The Originals star Phoebe Tonkin star as part of a group of friends who set sail on a yacht, enjoying a sun and surf holiday from Darwin to Indonesia. They spot an overcrowded fishing boat filled with distressed asylum seekers on the horizon and after a heated discussion and vote, the Captain makes the call to tow the boat back to Australia. A violent storm forces them to change course back to Indonesia and they wake the next morning to find the asylum boat gone. It’s not until five years later when one of the friends steps in a taxi driven by one of the refugees that they learn the truth – someone on the yacht cut the rope between the two boats, leaving the asylum seekers in the storm. Also starring Nicole Chamoun, Leeanna Walsman, Hazem Shammas.

  • The CW koop TV Serie ‘Prohibited’ van Ian en Nikki

    The CW heeft de TV Serie ‘Prohibited’ dat Ian samen met zijn vrouw Nikki met hun productie bedrijf heeft ontwikkeld gekocht. Het wordt nu verder ontwikkeld, het is nog niet duidelijk of de serie daadwerkelijk zal worden uitgezonden en zo ja vanaf wanneer.

    The CW has put in development Prohibited, an hourlong soapy drama from Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed’s Rare Birds Productions and Warner Bros. TV.

    Written by Jesse Lasky (Revenge), Prohibited is described as an upstairs/downstairs Southern soap where high-spirited former thief Amelia Jones attempts a fresh start in male-dominated Bourbon Country. Her new life, however, is upended when her two sisters show up demanding Amelia’s help in orchestrating the most dangerous heist of their lives: robbing the Money Room of the Kentucky Derby. Amelia now finds herself torn between the thrill of her dangerous past and her newfound ambition of becoming a Bourbon Queen.

    New parents Somerhalder and Reed executive produce via their Rare Birds as part of the company’s pod deal with Warner Bros.. Lasky is co-executive producer, while Rare Birds’ Tracy Ryerson produces.

    Lasky was a writer-associate producer on the last three seasons of ABC’s Revenge and most recently has been a writer on CBS’ Code Black.

    Reed is repped by Paradigm, Thruline Entertainment and Morris Yorn. Former The Vampire Diaries star Somerhalder is repped by ICM Partners, Untitled Entertainment and Morris Yorn. Lasky is repped at Paradigm and Echo Lake.

  • Kat zal stem vertolken in ‘Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’

    Kat is gecast in de nieuwe Nickelodeon animatie serie ‘Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’, hierin zal ze de stem vertolken van de Afro-Amerikaanse April. De eerste reeks zal bestaan uit 26 aflevering en is volgend jaar te zien op de zender.

    A handful of famous folks will head down into the sewers and munch on some pizza: Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has found its heroic reptile brothers.

    The Nickelodeon animated series about a quartet of crime-fighting brothers with about-to-be-explored ninja powers has tapped Omar Miller (Ballers) as the oldest sibling/ringleader Raphael, Ben Schwartz (Parks and Recreation) as the charming Leonardo, Josh Brener (Silicon Valley) as tech whiz Donatello, Brandon Mychal Smith (You’re The Worst) as the skateboarding artist Michelangelo, and Kat Graham (The Vampire Diaries) as their human friend April O’Neil. Graham will voice the first African-American April.

    Eric Bauza (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) also joins the cast as Splinter, both father figure and sensei to the Turtles.

    The series, which will debut next year with 26 episodes, chronicles the exploits of the turtle brothers as “they encounter new allies and villains and discover a mystical world they never knew existed beneath the streets of New York City.”

    The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise began as a comic book series in the ’80s before expanding to film, TV, and video games. In 2012, Nickelodeon debuted a computer-animated series, simply titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, that ran for five seasons, and in 2014, Transformers’ Michael Bay brought the franchise to the big screen with a film starring Will Arnett and Megan Fox. The two actors then reprised their roles in the 2016 sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.

  • Paul gaat nieuwe Freeform serie ‘Tapped’ produceren

    Paul zal samen met I. Marlene King een nieuwe freemform serie ‘Tapped’ produceren. Een serie over een drie studenten die een dating-app genaamd Tapped ontwikkelen waarbij mee ze miljonairs worden maar hierbij ook de gevaren die hierbij horen de baas moeten zijn. De serie is gebaseerd op een boek, het is nog niet bekend wanneer de serie zal verschijnen.

    Former The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley has teamed with Pretty Little Liars developer/showrunner I. Marlene King for Tapped, a drama series project, which has been set up at Freeform.

    Written by Thomas Brandon based on the novel in progress by Andrew Shaffer (How To Survive A Sharknado), Tapped is described as The Social Network meets Pretty Little Liars. It centers around three grad students who create a hookup app called Tapped that goes viral and turns the students into overnight millionaires, but also unleashes unwitting dangers into the world that the creators must try to understand and control.

    King executive produces through her Long Lake Media alongside Wesley and Bob Levy via Citizen Media. Brandon is co-executive producer. Warner Horizon Scripted Television, where both King and Wesley are under overall deals, is the studio.

  • Zach gecast in ‘The Gifted’

    Zach zal in de vierde aflevering van de serie ‘Gifted’ te zien zijn als Pulse.edit: Screencaptures zijn toegevoegd.

    The synopsis for the fourth episode of Marvel’s The Gifted is here and it features the debut of the mutant Pulse.

    The series, which premiered to rave reviews from critics and high ratings from fans, follows the story of mutants and humans in a world where the X-Men and the Brotherhood no longer exist. Zach Roerig (The Vampire Diaries) will play Pulse, a mutant with the ability to disable superhuman abilities as well as technological and psychic interference. With rumors that Garret Dillahunt’s Doctor Campbell could become the villainous Ahab, a mutant with the ability to disable other mutants could become a terrifying weapon.

    FOX released the synopsis for the fourth episode of The Gifted’s debut season season. Check out the description for “eXit strategy” below:

    When the mutants devise a plan to take down Sentinel Services, Eclipse seeks out an old friend from his dark past in order to obtain some useful information. Meanwhile, Lauren and Andy attempt to combine their powers in order to help the group in the all-new “eXit strategy”
