‘Remedy’ krijgt tweede seizoen
Sara’s nieuwe serie ‘Remedy’ is begin deze maand vernieuwd voor een tweede seizoen! De productie van het tweede seizoen zal later dit jaar beginnen in Toronto en Hamilton in Canada, en zal uit 10 afleveringen bestaan.

Sara te zien in nieuwe serie ‘Remedy ‘
Sara zal te zien in de nieuwe ziekenhuis serie ‘Remedy’, ze zal een chirurg gaan spelen in het fictieve Broadview Hospital. De productie van de Canadese serie begint in januari 2014 in Toronto.
e Vampire Diaries’ Sara Canning, Sarah Allen and Dillon Casey have boarded the Canadian medical drama Remedy.
Canning will play a general surgeon in the fictional Broadview Hospital, while Allen performs the role of an ICU nurse and Casey plays a medical school dropout.They join Enrico Colantoni, who was already announced in the role of a passionate father and doctor who is acting chief of staff at the hospital. The Global Television drama comes from Canadian indie Indian Grove Productions and has started production in Toronto.
Bernie Zukerman and series creator and showrunner Greg Spottiswood are executive producing. Production on Remedy will continue through January, 2014. The ensemble cast includes Matt Ward, Genelle Williams, Patrick McKenna and Martha Burns.
Red Arrow International holds international distribution rights to Remedy, which has Kelly Makin and Adam Barken as co-executive producers along with Jan Peter Meyboom. -
‘The Vampire Diaries’ 100th Episode Party
Vele castleden, voormalig castleden en de crew van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ waren afgelopen zaterdag op de viering van de series 100ste aflevering. Hiervan waren de afgelopen week de opnames, het komt tegenwoodig niet veel voor dat een serie het zo lang volhoud. Dus gefeliciteerd TVD!

2013 TIFF – ‘The Right Kind Of Wrong’ Premiere
Sara Canning was gisteren met co-star Ryan Kwanten (True Blood) aanwezig op de 2013 Toronto International Film Festival voor de premiere van haar nieuwste film ‘The Right Kind Of Wrong’.

Sara gecast in ‘Eadweard Muybridge’
Sara Canning is gecast in de nieuwe film ‘Eadweard Muybridge’. Een film over een fotograaf Eadweard Muybridge uit de 19e eeuw die beroemd werd om zijn werk van bewegende fotografie en de uitvinding van de zoopraxiscoop. Sara’s zal de vrouw van de fotograaf gaan spelen.
Vampire Diaries actress Sara Canning, Ian Tracey and Jodi Balfour have joined the cast of the untitled psychological drama centered on Eadweard Muybridge.
Michael Eklund is starring in the Canadian indie, which is being directed by Kyle Rideout and produced by Josh Epstein. Rideout and Epstein were behind Wait for Rain, a short which won best science fiction/fantasy at last year’s Comic-Con International Film Festival. The Muybridge project is their first feature.
Also joining the cast are Christopher Heyerdahl and Torrance Combs. The movie begins principal photography next week in Vancouver.Muybridge was a world-famous 19th-century photographer who took pictures of nude and deformed subjects, found fame with his landscape shots and pioneered motion photography by capturing animals and humans in action and let the way for motion pictures with his zoopraxiscope device. His personal life also was noteworthy: He killed his wife’s lover and received a justifiable homicide verdict.
Canning will play Muybridge’s wife while Balfour will be one of the photographer’s models who became the focus of some of this very first nudes.
Tracey will portray the founder of Stanford University who enlists Muybridge’s services to win a famous bet, over whether a horse had all four hooves off the ground while galloping.
Canning stars in Primeval: New World, the North American version of the hit BBC sci-fi show.
Tracey has appeared in the popular Canadian sci-fi show Continuum and appeared in Man of Steel and A&E’s Bates Motel.
Balfour is one of the stars of CBC’s acclaimed show Bomb Girls.
