  • Nina weer gespot op set ‘Flatliners’

    Nina was eind vorige maand nog gespot op de set van haar nieuwste film ‘Flatliners’ in Toronto, Canada. Ook verschenen er enkele geruchten dat Nina de rol in de film zou hebben aangenomen zodat ze geen tijd zou hebben om naar Atlanta te reizen voor opnames in het achtste en laatste seizoen van ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Alhoewel ze gezegd zou hebben willen terug te keren naar de serie om het verhaallijn van haar personage Elena af te ronden is hierover nog niets officieel bevestigd voor het aankomende seizoen.

  • “Project Runway” seizoen 15 promo

    Nina is een gastjury in het opkomende 15e seizoen van “Project Runway”, er is nu een promotievideo van verschenen. het nieuwe seizoen begin op 15 september in Amerika, onduidelijk is dan ook gelijk Nina te zien zal zijn.

  • Why Nina Dobrev Has to Return for The Vampire Diaries’ Final Season

    Now that we know The Vampire Diaries is concluding with season eight, one giant question lingers: is original star Nina Dobrev going to return? Dobrev famously left the show at the end of season six, and let’s be honest, it hasn’t been the same without her. Along with a small group of journalists, we got to speak with creator Julie Plec about whether Dobrev will reprise the role of Elena, and here’s what she said.

    “All I can say, because there is nothing written in stone, but Nina made me a promise when she left that she would come back and be part of the goodbye, and I intend on holding her to that, and I’m sure she intends on living up to it as well. We just have to figure it out: the how, the when, the what. But it would be a real tragedy if we couldn’t bring that story back around full-circle.”

    After this comment from Plec, it would be a real shock if Dobrev bowed out of the final goodbye. Here’s hoping we see her and all those who have left Mystic Falls over the years back for season eight.

  • Nina is gecast in remake van ‘Flatliners’

    Nina is gecast in de remake van de film ‘Flatliners’ uit 1990. Inmiddels is ze ook al in Vancouver gespot op de set. Nina zal de rol van Marlo spelen.

    Ellen Page and Diego Luna are set to star in the remake of the 1990 sci-fi film.
    Nina Dobrev is joining Ellen Page and Diego Luna in Sony’s Flatliners remake.

    Neils Arden Oplev, who helmed the Swedish Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, will direct the sci-fi drama that is based on the original 1990 film, which starred Julia Roberts, Kiefer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon as a group of medical students who conduct near-death experiments to travel into the afterworld.

    Dobrev will be playing Marlo, an overachiever who is at the top of her class.

    Ben Ripley wrote the film, which is being produced by Michael Douglas and Laurence Mark.

    The Vampire Diaries alum’s film credits include Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Final Girls. She currently is filming Vin Diesel’s xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

    Dobrev is repped by CAA, Lighthouse and Hansen Jacobson.

  • Nina had gastrol in seizoen 7!

    Julie Plec heeft laten weten dat Nina een kleine gastrol had in seizoen 7. In één van de laatste afleveringen van het seizoen was ze kort te horen en deze audio heeft ze zelf opgenomen. Hiervoor vloog Nina enkele weken speciaal voor naar Atlanta waar de opnames van TVD plaatsvinden om die in te spreken, het was dus niet al eerder opgenomen materiaal dat hergebruikt was :D

    Nina Dobrev surprised fans when she made a brief cameo in the season 7 finale of The Vampire Diaries…(kinda).

    When Elena’s pleading voice was used as a way to lure Damon (Ian Somerhalder) into a trap set by the super creepy (and apparently powerful) Armory vault entity, fans weren’t sure whether Dobrev actually returned to record the new lines, or producers recycled old audio. As it turns out, the show’s former star lent her voice to the episode, stopping by the set to record ADR (automated dialogue replacement) and visit her old vamping grounds. “She chose to do it in person, which was great, because it was a nice little personal Nina visit,” the show’s executive producer, Julie Plec, said during an interview with TVLine.
