Malese te zien in ‘Flash’ S2
Volgens het laatste nieuws zal Malese in het tweede seizoen van ‘Flash’ weer te zien zijn als Linda Park!
Barry Allen’s love life is going to continue being complicated in season 2. EW has learned exclusively that Malese Jow (The Vampire Diaries, Star-Crossed) will reprise her role as reporter and former Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) love interest Linda Park for multiple episodes. “Linda Park will return as Iris West’s [Candice Patton] friend and colleague at Central Picture News and her past relationship with Barry will put both Iris and The Flash in unexpected danger,” executive producer Gabrielle Stanton teases.
A refresher: Barry and Linda’s short romance ended amid the Scarlet Speedster’s Groundhog Day-esque time travel adventure. Though it was an amicable split, things may get awkward in season 2 with the introduction of another Barry love interest, Patty Spivot (Shantal VanSanten).
This could be totally unrelated and have no bearing on Linda’s return, but in the world of the comics, Linda Park also happens to be the future wife of Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale), whom we’ll also meet this season.

Malese voor NKD magazine
Malese Jow heeft een interview en fotoshoot gehad voor NKD magazine. Tijdens het interview had ze het o.a. over haar TVD personage Anna!
On playing Anna on TVD: “The fan response to the writers and me were like, ‘What’s happening?’ Petitions, everything it was just crazy. I think the writers heard the outcry and even the crew was upset. They decided to write me back in for season three and close things up a little better. It was an interesting experience booking it, but it turned into something that I wasn’t even expecting. I thought I was going to be on the show for two to four episodes. It turned out being a part of two seasons and being a vampire when that whole thing was popular, so that was very special.”
On making future music: “Music is always a constant thing for me; I’m always writing. I’m getting better at guitar and booking shows. That’s always something that’s in the works and I can’t wait for it to be a solid thing and I can release music, so keep your eye out.”
On her character on The Flash: “Linda is fun. She’s a strong women, which is good to see on TV. She’s secure in her skin; she doesn’t beat around the bush with anything. If she wants something she’s clear about it. She’s a career women, and it’s great to portray her. I hope she keeps doing the thang. I love how strong she is. I love how she doesn’t really worry herself with peoples opinions and all the petty drama that’s going on around her. I just hope that she stays that way and doesn’t become too soft or too persuaded by things that shouldn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things.”

Malese Jow gecast in The Flash
Malese Jow heeft een rol gescoord in de nieuwe CW serie ‘The Flash’! Ze zal vanaf aflevering 1×12 te zien zijn als Linda Parks, een terugkerende rol.
Malese Jow has been announced as the newest cast member of CW’s TV adaptation of DC Comics The Flash.
It was announced on Monday that Jow would be joining the cast in a recurring role as Linda Park.
The 23-year-old star joins the cast after previously starring on the CW series Star-Crossed and The Vampire Diaries.Malese took to Twitter on Monday to share her excitement.
‘YOU GUYS, I AM SO EXCITED!! #TheFlash @CW_TheFlash,’ she posted, along with a link to the story from The Hollywood Reporter confirming the news.
Her character, is described as a quick-witted reporter for the Central City Picture News.
She will help Iris, played by Candice Patton, find her way in the fast-paced journalism world.Love is in the air: Jow will be playing the love interest of Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin
The new character will first meet Barry Allen, played by Grant Gustin, at a local bar, and the two will hit it off.
This could mean big things for the characters, as Linda is very important to Barry in the comics.
She first appears in Issue No. 28 as The Flash’s girlfriend, and then later she shows up as the comic book hero’s wife.Jow will make her debut on the CW show in episode 112.
