  • Updates staan online

    Het heeft wat langer geduurd dat ik geplant had, maar ik ben de site weer aan het updaten!

    Momenteel ben ik begonnen aan de galerij, die al in een nieuwe lay-out heeft. Daarnaast kan je nu alle screencaptures vinden van de seizoen 1! Staan bijna alle nieuwste foto’s van seizoen 2 online en moeten de laatste van de cast nog in de galerij worden gezet.

    Hierna zal ik als eerste de pagina op de site updaten, zodat alle informatie over seizoen 2 online staat, ook de nieuwste afleveringen met Nederlandse ondertiteling! Daarnaast zal de site ook een nieuwe lay-out krijgen.
    Pagina’s over de afleveringen, video’s van seizoen 2, gastrollen en boeken zijn weer up-to-date. En de audio nummers van Candice zijn nu te downlaoden als mp3!

    Nina Dobrev is the reason why Bulgarians can finally say they made it to Hollywood. Only 21-year-old, she has already gained international acclaim thanks to her role as Elena Gilbert in the popular American TV show “The Vampire Diaries,” which is already in its second season.

    Nina was born in Sofia but moved with her parents to Canada at the age of two. In Toronto, Ontario she had the chance to develop her passion and talent for arts. (meer…)

  • Toronto Sun interview met Nina

    Nina heeft afgelopen week een interview gehad met de Toronto Sun, hier had ze het over de 4 rollen die ze speelt! Namelijk Elena, Katerine (nu), Katerine (uit de 18e eeuw), Katerine (uit de 14e eeuw) en Katerine (voor ze vampier was). Ook liet ze weten dat ze samen met haar moeder de Bulgaarse dialoog voor de aflevering 2×09 heeft vertaalt.

    Nina Dobrev personally is making sure nothing gets lost in translation on The Vampire Diaries.

    With a little help from her mom, that is.

    Dobrev and her mother worked on the Bulgarian dialogue that was used in the most recent new episode to air (Nov. 11). The 21-year-old Dobrev is Bulgarian-Canadian, having been born in Bulgaria but raised in Toronto.

    “I called my mom, and she and I translated it,” Dobrev said of the Bulgarian dialogue in the episode titled Katerina.

    “I think the writers had used an internet translator and it was so funny. All those online translators are never right. So we did it. I translated my own dialogue, but I called my mom just to confirm I was right.
