CW heeft een nieuwe serie interviews genaamd Start Now. De eerste met producer Julie Plec is verschenen, ik kon hem helaas niet vinden zonder Russische ondertiteling.

Steven R. McQueen is the grandson of the late Steve McQueen and shares the legendary actor’s effortlessly cool persona. The 23-year-old Los Angeles native plays a troubled medium named Jeremy Gilbert alongside fellow Bullett heartbreaker Michael Trevino on the knockout supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries. He also starred in the 2010 remake of Piranha, is a big fan of the Rolling Stones, has a dog named Max and has a crush on Morgan Freeman. One of these things is not true.
What can we expect from Jeremy next season?
Well, we’re kind of figuring that out as we go. We just got our first script. At the end of last season, Jeremy failed to protect his sister and she died, so now I think he’s trying to become stronger to right his wrongs.
What I like about your character is that he’s gradually transitioned from weak to badass.
And hopefully this season, a little more.That’s a mischievous smile. Something big is going to happen, isn’t it?
It’s going to be a good season. I’m pretty excited about it.

Sara is volgens de The Hollywood Reporter gecast in de film ‘I Put A Hit On You’, naar verluid zullen de opnames op 20 november beginnen in Toronto, Canada.
The Vampire Dairies’ Sara Canning has jumped on board the dark romantic comedy I Put a Hit on You, the feature film debut of Dane Clark and Linsey Stewart.
Canning is to play a broken-hearted woman who goes on Craigslist in a drunken stupor to arrange a hit on her ex-boyfriend, played by Aaron Ashmore (Warehouse 13), only to then attempt to stop the hitman from carrying out the contract.
The online-posting-disaster feature from Lithium Studios Productions and Dark Hope Entertainment is set to start shooting in Toronto on November 20.

A WINTER WONDERLAND IN MYSTIC FALLS — As a Winter Wonderland-themed party fills the streets of Mystic Falls, Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) find themselves at odds with Tyler (Michael Trevino) over his plans for Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and his hybrids. When Caroline proposes a solution to their problem, Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) finds a dramatic way to make it clear that she is not on board. Later, Klaus makes a discovery that leads to chaos and violence. Meanwhile, Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon retreat to the Gilbert Lake House to help Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) conquer some dangerous inner demons with the help of Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Professor Shane (guest star David Alpay), who reveals a piece of ancient history that leaves them all speechless. Alarmed by the vivid nightmares he’s having, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) turns to Matt (Zach Roerig) for help, but the situation escalates sooner than anyone expected. Olympic Gold Medalist Gabrielle Douglas also makes an appearance.
