  • “Cult” begint 19 februari!

    Matthew Davis nieuwe serie “Cult” zal op 19 februari beginnen op The CW! Met het nadere release van de serie zijn ook nieuwe promotiefoto’s en de eerste stills verschenen.

    Investigative journalist Jeff Sefton has learned to laugh off his brother Nate’s relentless string of obsessions, especially his latest rant that a hit TV show intends to harm him. However, when his brother mysteriously disappears, Jeff takes Nate’s paranoia seriously, and in the process uncovers the dark underworld of the TV show “Cult” and its rabid fans. The only person who seems willing to help Jeff with his investigation is Skye, a young research assistant for “Cult,” who has also started to grow suspicious of the increasingly dark happenings surrounding the show. The fictitious show, centered on the cat-and-mouse game between charismatic cult leader Billy Grimm and LAPD detective Kelly Collins, has become an obsession for its viewers — and now some of its devotees seem to be taking their fixation to deadly extremes in the real world. As Jeff and Skye dig deeper into the fan world, they discover that the gruesome plot twists on television are much more than fantasy for some very unfortunate people. The hardcore fans of “Cult” would kill to see what happens next…

    Vanaf vandaag is de nederlandse vertaling van het boek The Hunters: Moonsong genaamd ‘Maanlied’ te koop! Hij kost € 18,95.

    Elena en haar vrienden kunnen niet wachten om naar Dalcrest College te gaan, de plek waar haar ouders elkaar voor het eerst ontmoet hebben, nu ze zijn teruggekeerd uit de Duistere Dimensie. Na al het heen-en-weergeslinger tussen Damon en Stefan weet Elena nu eindelijk aan wie haar hart toebehoort: aan Stefan. Elena weet dat dit haar jaar gaat worden en zelfs Damon lijkt zich in zijn nieuwe rol te schikken.

Als studenten op mysterieuze wijze verdwijnen, lijkt achter elk nieuw vriendelijk gezicht een vijand te schuilen. Al snel breekt er paniek uit en kost het Elena, Bonnie, Meredith en Matt moeite om in elkaar te blijven geloven.
    Elena komt achter een goed bewaard familiegeheim dat haar leven op z’n kop zet en niets goeds voor de toekomst voorspelt.
    Kan Elena haar lot ontlopen? En zal het Stefan of toch Damon zijn die naast haar blijft staan tot het bittere einde?
