  • Jospeh scoort rol in ‘Dermaphoria’

    Joseph Morgan heeft de hoofdrol gescoort in de film ‘Dermaphoria’, naar een gelijknamig boek over een briljante scheikundige die wakker wordt geheugenverlies in de gevangenis na een explosie in een drugslabratorium. Gevangen tussen de politie en criminelen die dolgraag een formule willen hebben in zijn hoofd, moet de man zijn geheugen terugkrijgen door een nieuw medicijn/drugs om zijn vermiste vriendin terug te vinden.

    Joseph Morgan is headed to the big screen!

    According to THR, the 32-year-old Originals star has landed a role in Dermaphoria, the film adaptation of Craig Clevenger‘s novel of the same name.

    The story centers on a brilliant chemist (Morgan) who wakes up in jail after a drug lab explosion and is suffering from amnesia.

    Trapped between cops who want to arrest him and heavies who will stop at nothing to get the formula buried deep inside his head, the man needs to piece together memories fragmented by a powerful new drug and find his missing girlfriend.

    Production is set to begin on June 23 in New Orleans.

    Het vierde seizoen van ‘The Vampire Diaries’ zal op 3 september 2013 op DVD en Blu-ray verschijnen in Amerika. Hierboven de coverart voor de DVD/Blu-ray box. Er is nog niets bekend over een release in Nederland of België.

  • Ian gecast in ‘The Anamoly’

    Ian is gecast in de nieuwe actie thriller ‘The Anamoly’, de opnames zullen in Londen zijn.

    Ian Somerhalder has joined the cast of the upcoming action thriller The Anamoly!

    The 34-year-old actor will star alongside Luke Hemsworth in the film that follows the travails of a traumatized ex-soldier who wakes up in the back of a van, alongside a kidnapped boy, to find that he only has nine minutes and 37 seconds of consciousness to work out why and how he got there.

    The Anamoly will shoot in London and also star Pitch Perfect‘s Alexis Knapp, Noel Clarke, and Brian Cox.

    Ian, what memories did you take from your last trip to the Philippines?
    IAN SOMERHALDER: I was in Palawan which is truly one the most beautiful places in the world. I was just greeted by so much environmental beauty, the people were so great to me. The wildlife, the environment, the people, the food, are just incredible. So I took away a lot from my trip to the Philippines. Like, a lot, a lot, a lot. I really wanna go back and spend more time there.

    Nina, what did Ian tell you about his trip to the Philippines?
    NINA DOBREV: The people were awful. I’m kidding! I saw the pictures he didn’t really need to say much. But he did say a lot. When I saw the pictures, they spoke more than any words could describe. It was so beautiful, I was so jealous I couldn’t be there. It’s such a beautiful place.

    Would you guys come back together next time?
    NINA: Hopefully, I really want to go and see the Philippines.
    IAN: Yeah, I’d love for her to see it.

    What made you say yes to do the campaign?
    IAN: They’re just incredible people. They’re so giving and generous to their employees and customers.
    NINA: He told me about the experience and it was great. It’s just a great brand with great clothes. I’m just excited they asked me to be part of Penshoppe.

    What’s your day-to-day sartorial style?
    NINA: I’m casual chic
    IAN: I’m a dude. Just jeans and T-shirt. Something comfortable.
